Summer Camp Registration Details:
 
Club Location: All Summer Camp activities will take place at our Northside Club located at 900 Annafrel Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730.

 
Camp Hours: Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
 

 
Summer Camp Dates:Monday, June 7, 2009 through Friday, August 13, 2009. We will NOT close during the week of July 4.

 ***Parents may select how many weeks they wish to enroll their child(ren) for summer camp.   We want parents to be able to pick and choose weeks, which best suit their summer schedule and budget needs.  You may choose by the week or enroll for the entire summer.*** 

 


Cost: 
   $100 per week (REGULAR LUNCH RATE - if paying for the entire summer (10 weeks), total fee is $1,000
   $80 per week (REDUCED LUNCH RATE) -if paying for the entire summer (10 weeks), total fee is $800
   $60 per week (FREE LUNCH RATE) - if paying for the entire summer (10 weeks), total fee is $600
   ***Additional assistance is available through the Department of Social Services' ABC program***              
              
Students do not have a to be a current member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of York County. Additional documentation must be provided if you feel you qualify for either the FREE or REDUCED rates. PLUS: a one-time $15 membership fee/child, which will be taken out along with your first draft payment. If your child is a member of the current year’s after school program, then you do not need to pay the $15 fee again until the next school year.


 
Daily Lunch/Snacks: Lunch is provided free daily. On field trip days, your child must bring a bag lunch. Two snacks will be provided daily.
 


Schedule/Activities:

  • Daily Gym and Outdoor activity (Sports or Recreational Fitness – one of our 5 core areas)
  • Program (a structured lesson in one of our other 4 core areas – Character & Leadership Development, Health & Life Skills, the Arts, and Education & Career Development). See Program Areas link for more details.
  • Computers (educational programs like "NetSmartz" and "My Club My Life")
  • Game Room (foosball, pool, board games, etc)
  • Swimming (at an additional low cost of $0.75/per day) 
  • Special Activities/Field Trips (e.g. Guest speakers, relay races, Club-wide Spelling Bee, Rock Climbing and much more!)


 
Field Trips: Field trips are included free of charge. Members ages 10 and up may also choose from special activities including hiking, biking, rock climbing and other fun trips for an additional low cost. Please see our list of optional summer camp field trips for more information and to pre-register today. Pre-registration required for these optional field trips. Registration form can be submitted online or you may print it out and return it to the Club.
 

Transportation: Parents are solely responsible for their child’s transportation both to and from the Club each day during summer camp. The Boys & Girls Clubs of York County will provide transportation for field trips.

 


 
Payment: All summer camp fees must be drafted from either a checking or savings account according to our predetermined WEEKLY draft schedule (a copy of which is included with the paperwork) Payments can ONLY be made through automatic weekly draft (debit) or one lump sum payment from a checking or savings account. ALL CAMP FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE (WITH NO EXCEPTIONS)!
 

Enrollment: Register Online! All paperwork may also be picked up or downloaded and turned in at any of our five Club locations. If you wish to send via mail, please address it to: Boys & Girls Clubs of York County, P.O. Box 226, Rock Hill, SC 29731.

 

Paperwork Checklist:

 ***If your child is a current member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of York County, please complete only the Summer Camp Registration Application and Pick Up Authorization Forms only unless your information has recently changed***

  •  Summer Camp Application (one per child)
  •  Membership Application (one per child)
  •  Pick Up Authorization Form
  •  Medication and Allergy Consent Form
  •  Teen Optional Summer Camp Field Trip Form (available soon!)
  •  AutoPay Enrollment Form

·     Along with this, you must include a voided check, account or deposit slip, or note from your bank officially verifying your account and routing number. If you do not currently have a checking or savings account, Family Trust Federal Credit Union has agreed to open up free accounts for BGCYC parents with only a $5 minimum balance.

  •  Verification Form for Lunch Status Eligibility (only if applying for free or reduced rate)

·      Along with this form, you will need to turn in your last two pay stubs, your most recent annual tax return and/or W-2, and any other information regarding earned income, such as child support, unemployment, social security, disability, food stamps, etc.
